Using the risk analysis process, Design Security Ltd develops mitigation measures to ensure these spaces are hardened to recognised and assured standards.


                                    Example of Security Control Room Layout

The figure above shows an indicative layout of the security control room for a small building environment. The space requirements and layout for this room are based upon British Standards taking into account the number of security systems that security staff will need to monitor within that build environment and their expected responses should alarms be generated.

The location of the facility, wall, floor and ceiling packages had to be coordinated with the architectural team. The services for the operation of the environment had to be coordinated with the building services engineering teams.
