Design Security Ltd is conducting a two-day introduction to security design course in Singapore on the 17th and 18th May.

Following the success of the Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) planning course in November 2017 and the two day ‘Designing Security for New and Existing Buildings’, Design Security Ltd in conjunction with Q8 Ltd Singapore will be running another course.

The course is aimed to provide an insight into security risk management and how this can be utilised when planning the security measures for new or existing buildings.  Using Security Risk Management can significantly reduce the spend on physical security controls.

The course will run over the two days and culminate with short exercises where delegates can put into practice the methodology for identifying, selecting and positioning security control measures.

Chris Aldous, Director of Design Security Ltd says ‘developing and delivering the course to the delegates on behalf of Q8 was a challenge that the team at Design Security Ltd were willing to undertake.  Too often organisations apply security controls as an afterthought at considerable cost.  The aim of this course is to provide delegates with an understanding of the complexity of designing security but also the foundations to enable them to better affect outcomes on their projects’.

The course is already well subscribed.  Please Contact Yu Xuan of Q8 Singapore yuxuan@q8asia.com.sgfor further course details.

If you or the organisation that your work for would like advice or assistance on selecting the right mix of security please contact Design Security Ltd, Wales’s only Independent Security Design Consultancy at enquires@designsecurityltd.com
