Continue to Professionally Develop
Despite the Pandemic the team at Design Security Ltd have found ways to develop their own skills and support others.
During the 2021 keeping up to date with developments in the dynamic security environment remained a challenge. With lockdowns and restrictions for health and safety coming and going finding the right mix of training for team development remained a task to be overcome.
Mr Ian Gray, a security strategist with Design Security Ltd enrolled on the Level 4 Security and Risk Management course offered by Institute of Security Risk Management (ISRM). We are pleased to say that he has successfully gained this award and is being supported by Design Security Ltd to continue with the studies at Level 5.
In addition to Ian undertaking his training Design Security Ltd has provided a donation to the Open University to support the Bursary for carers and disabled veterans with accessing high education.
Chris Aldous, Director of Design Security Ltd says, ‘It’s never too late to learn and refresh knowledge. Ian has a wealth of practical experience from his long service career in the Metropolitan Police being involved in major built environment projects and found the content of the Level 4 course refreshed areas of knowledge.
As a former OU student, I understand the financial and time pressure on individuals who embark on the pathway to attain a degree. If our donation can help an individual access a course and progress their career, then its money well placed’.
